Self-Healing

You wanted my heart,
It is damaged,
Black and blue with
Stitches that never dissolve

You thought, even believed
You could fix me,
Heal invisible wounds
Even I forget about

I told you this
Causality of love
Rests in intensive care,
My emotions are on
Life support

I tell you,
Go! Seek someone else,
In another waiting room!

You come back and still,
I deny your visits
I no longer wish to share
My barely beating trust

You act as if spurned,
I do not want or need
You to save me

I only need the quiet
Of my own faith for
Self-healing
