Time Gone By

Sweet kisses fall upon my face, as I bask in the warm

summer sun.

The bright green grass tickles the soles of my feet, while the laughter

tickles my heart.

Frolicking carefree spinning round and round, eyes shut tight

watching as life spins by.

As I open my eyes I see the changes around

So different than it used to be, where did time go?

To be that carefree young spirit again

Where the future was like eternity, and the possibilities in

it, endless.

Wishing I had held on tighter to a time long gone.
