Unlovable

No one wanted her.

She wasn’t easy to love, like everyone else.

She made it hard,

She was difficult,

Wounded,

Scarred,

Beaten,

And broken.

Loving her was like trying to fill a leaking bucket.

She needed constant reassurance.

She couldn’t understand how someone could love her.

Then he came along.

He didn’t mind constantly reassuring her.

Quieting her fears, chasing away the demons.

He loved her.

It was then, she realized the problem wasn’t her.

She was loveable.
