Winter’s Kiss

Icicles hang from rooftops, the burning sun glinting off their frozen tips. Causing droplets of water to drip from the once cold ice.

The heat melted away most of the snow. Now all that remains are patches of the frosty white crystals desperately hanging on before spring erases winter’s magical work.

Soon it will all be gone with the summer breeze. Winter’s lush white landscape forgotten for spring flowers and summer swim days. Just like a quick Winter’s kiss, it’ll be gone.
