Digging Up the Dead

How long is long enough? Just curious.

… By the way, how long does a person have to be dead before archeologists can appropriately dig them up? Do the relatives of the person buried need also to be deceased? Is there a time period, such as 100 years or 1,000 years? At what point does grave desecration become science?
