Yesterday, I needed quarters to feed the parking meter. I couldn’t find any in my usual slot in the car, so I reached into the glove compartment and found a ziplock bag of quarters.

I couldn’t help but smile.

My boyfriend had placed a bag of quarters in my car a few weeks back because I seldom carry cash or change. Thank you, Chouchou. (A childish term of endearment apt for his French-American descent).
