User testing August 22
The lecture started with the presentations from the groups who did not presented last week. While showing the personas and the storyboard, they introduced the app idea and explained the use of the app in many different perspectives.
Then we started with the lecture talking about usability of heuristic, and we went through the examples with both good and bad designs. In addition, we went through ten of the most important principles of a good design that should have such as “visibility of the app”, “keep user informed” and etc. Then the groups were split into halves and two halves of different groups merged into a new group to give feedback to each other’s prototype.

After finishing the discussion with different half of the group, we get the feedback of our individual prototypes. Then we get back to the our original group and selected the best two prototypes among the group. And then we modified the two prototypes based on the feedback that we received. We decided to add the features which we did not have before such as the rating for the buyers and sellers, and distance of the clothes between the user and sellers. In addition, we improved some of the features which we had to ensure the user will have more ability of control for our app.

features we decided to add

At the end, we decided the features we need to add, and we discussed interface of some of the feature. In addition, we looked other similar apps and get inspired by some of ideas from them of how to deliver a clearer and cleaner interfaces to the users.
