Airbnb is a pattern giving the connection between the guest who need a place or simply a flat to live in for short or long time and the host who own “a home” for renting all around the world, via a smartphone application.

  • The fee is about 3% for the host and about 6%–12% for the guest who use Airbnb. This fee also assure that guest and host to pay cheaper than other hotel booking websites.
Airbnb is becoming more common

According to Forbes, Airbnb keeps growing through years and in 2018 it boasts the following stats:

  • 4.5 million+ Airbnb properties across the world in 81,000 cities
  • 300 million+ guest check-ins in 10 years
  • $41 billion+ earned by Airbnb hosts

So why don’t you think about being a host on Airbnb with all the benefits I’m going to tell you (besides making profit):

1. Meeting new people

Our friends from USA visited Vietnam — our hometown

Besides having a house for renting makes an income for you, the second most exciting things is being about to host real travelers from all over the world. Culture exchanging between countries and friends.

“Those Airbnb guest that we happen to run into were always a delight to talk to.”-Lily, a host in Seattle, Washington said.

Have you been invited a meal or to going out by your guest? You might experience this if you are an Airbnb host. Shopping, eating, talking about random stuff with others, why not?

2. Cultural Value Exchange

Another great point about hosting different people from all walks of life is the trade value of each person. If you have hosted therapists, historians, electrician, tax specialists… they are willing to help you just because they are staying with you, in your place.

3. Discover your own home town

You can start loving the town you’re in by learning about your town. This fringe benefit is overlooked a lot. You live in your town but are you sure that you know clearly about this place. This opportunity might bring to you knowledge of your hometown that you did not even know such as: the history, landscapes in your local, traditional local dishes,… Because you will need all these things to guide your guest. Don’t worry! It will be interesting.

4. Home Issue Early Detection & Maintenance

Airbnb guests are great inspectors for your home. They can give reports on your property that you wouldn’t even know before the problem gets worst. If the shower head is leaking, if there are early signs of an ant invasion, slow drainage in the tub — they’ll let you know. It’s better to be preventative now than treat later.

5. Extra Incentive for you spouse to clean the house

Airbnb has been great for the house, it is an excuse for you to clean your own house because you have to welcome your guests. Vacuum every other day and keep at least 3 out of 4 of the bedrooms in top pristine and de-cluttered conditions.

6. Stop anytime

We do not picture you — the hosts stopping or wanting to stop anytime soon. But we do mention you — the hosts or hosts-to-be that this can be quick engagement. If there is an emergency or the property will no longer be available, you can just stop hosting any time. Hosts can also block out what segments of the calendar that is not available to be rented out. There are settings to set requirements like minimum booked nights also.

  • The last bonus benefit is cooperation with Cohost Club, we make sure your customer service will be the best and we will help you in each step from the beginning.
