Coin Hunt World GIF Contest!
Hey Hunters!
Have you ever gone looking for the perfect CHW GIF (to use in #off-topic of course…), but it just doesn’t exist? Well, we want to change that! This is a call to action to all creatively-inclined hunters to invade Tenor and fill it to the brim with homemade CHW GIFs!
To participate in this contest, please join us in the official Coin Hunt World discord server!
How does it work?
Submissions for the contest will be accepted from March 19th through April 2nd (UTC). During this time, new contest channels will become available in our Discord server. These will be media-only channels to be used for GIF submissions.
Freshly created GIFs should fall into one of the the following categories:
- Meme/Funny (Coin Hunt-ify your favorite reaction GIF, etc.)
- Educational (GIFs that could be used to teach new players — e.g. how to build an HQ, forge a key, play a geolocation game, etc.)
What do I need to create a GIF?
There are several platforms which you can use such as GIPHY, imgflip, kapwing, and many more — find the one that works for you!
You’ll want to upload your template and any additional assets you need to create your work of art. You can find and download high resolution CHW graphic assets on the Wiki by searching for the cubie, resource, BP, etc. that you want to use on it’s respective page.
I also encourage liberal use of the CHW logo so that GIF users know how to find us.
IMPORTANT: ONLY GIFS SUBMITTED AS TENOR LINKS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CONTEST. This means that once you’ve generated a submission-worthy GIF, you’ll need to head on over to Tenor.com to upload it. Please note that it can take a while (we’ve seen it take up to an hour) before submitted GIFs begin to appear on the Tenor keyboard.
Tag your GIFs! Tags are what allow your GIF to be found via search. Make sure to use plenty of relevant tags to ensure that they show up when Discord users search for crypto or Coin Hunt GIFs!
How are winners chosen?
Our community of hunters on Discord will vote for the best GIFs with emoji reacts! After the submission period ends on April 2nd, voting will continue until April 4th(UTC). Winners will be announced shortly thereafter!

The top 10 submissions in each category as voted by the community will receive the following:
