Halloween Event 2022!
Trick or Treat, Hunters!
My personal favorite event is back in town, and it’s spookier than ever! From Oct 25 till Nov 1st UTC, our biggest Halloween Event ever will put a spell on all our hunters. Without spoiling too much, let’s take a look at what is about to happen in the Cubieverse!
The Halloween Quest Chain
New this year, the Halloween Event now also features a quest chain. The quest chain features a series of challenges for each player with rewards dropping along the way for everybody. One reward is easy to get, one is medium and one is hard. You decide how much of a challenge you want! Let’s take a look at the possible rewards:
Easy Reward: Halloween 2022 NFT!
Medium Reward: Ectoplasm Resource
The new epic resource for this year is Ectoplasm. This epic resource is hard to find and is required to print this year’s new Halloween Cubies. Luckily, you can obtain a big chunk of it by progressing on the quest chain!
Hard Reward: The Big Tickler + Tomb HQ Skin
As usual, completing the entire quest chain rewards you with the juiciest stuff! When completing it you will get a Big Tickler, a huge reward box that loves to get tickled. Inside, you will find 5 random epic resources and the very spooky Tomb HQ Skin!
But That’s Not All!
The first 5 hunters in each country that complete the Halloween Event quest chain will receive a unique Behind the Scenes #5 NFT featuring some of the sweet concept art created by our team of talented artist, signed by the devs!
Limited Sale: Halloween Display Case
Hunters will also be able to purchase an extra spooky display case to show off their brand new Halloween Cubies. This case will only be available for 7 days. Look for it in the display case shop for 2 Green Keys!

There will be 4 new Cubies to hunt for this Halloween: 1 common and 3 epics! How do you get them? You can only get them from hunting cauldrons!
Hunting Cauldrons
While hunting on foot, there is a small chance to spawn a cauldron nearby. When it happens, you will see a notification on your screen and a sonar will appear on the map. Follow the sonar and it will lead you to your cauldron.
Once there, you have to stir the cauldron to activate it, toss in a key and it will spit out a Halloween Event resource box! Only these boxes have a chance to drop the new Cubie blueprints.
There are 3 different types of cauldrons:
- Common cauldrons (yellow stew, can drop common blueprints)
- Rare cauldrons (red stew, can drop rare blueprints)
- Epic cauldrons (purple stew, can drop epic blueprints)
All cauldrons that appear on the map are visible to all players, so you can also use other hunters’ cauldrons. However, every cauldron disappears after a while, so don’t wait too long!
Group Hunts
The optimal strategy to do well in this event is to hunt in groups and coordinate cauldron locations with your local hunters! Hunt in groups to increase everybody’s chance to get cauldrons and use your local Facebook and Discord communities to coordinate where new cauldrons have been spotted!
