A brand-new event is coming to Coin Hunt World from November 21 through December 19 UTC! For four weeks, we’ll be celebrating the 2022 World Cup — and football more generally — with all-new cubies, rewards, and a gameplay mechanic based on the real-life football matches.

Print Football Cubies!
The World Cup 2022 Event will introduce a brand-new common randomizer blueprint: The World Cup Cubie Blueprint.
Just like Cats and Tiki Warriors, this blueprint has multiple possible outcomes when you print it at a Print Shop — 32 different Football Cubies, in fact (one for each country participating in the World Cup). Each of these outcomes has an equal chance of being printed. Blueprints are consumed upon use.
World Cup Cubie Blueprints are available in the Shop for 2 Green Keys each. 100,000 are available for purchase, and you can buy as many as you’d like until they’re sold out or the event ends!
Collect Footballs!
To print Football Cubies, you’ll need Blue Paint as well as a brand-new resource: ⚽ Footballs. Because this is such a long event (four weeks long!), they’re only available in Green Vaults — This will keep that precious paint and resin flowing from the rest.
To reiterate: White, Blue, and Yellow Vaults will be unchanged, dropping normal resources for the duration of the World Cup. These vaults will maintain the 3/3/3 reward structure during the event.
Please note that the American footballs that drop during the Fourth of July Event have had their name changed to “Pigskins.”
🤔 How It Works
This event will take place across multiple Phases, which line up with the different stages of the World Cup. Below is an event schedule, and here’s a quick summary of how this event’s unique mechanic will work:
Predict Who Will Win!
Starting on December 3 (the Group Stage of the World Cup), players will equip printed Football Cubies to predict who they think will win each match. If you root for the right team, you’ll have a chance to earn special rewards!
- Right at the official start time of each match, a snapshot will be taken of the players that are wearing the Football Cubies of the teams in that match. To reiterate, the snapshots will occur at each match’s scheduled, official start time. We recommend wearing your Cubie of choice 10 minutes before the start time, just to be safe.
- Once each match concludes, the players who equipped the winning team’s Football Cubie will receive a reward in their in-game mailroom.
📅 Schedule
Phase 1: Group Stage!
(November 20 — December 2)
- The Football Cubie Blueprint goes on sale in the Shop.
- Footballs begin dropping from Green Vaults.
- Predictions will not take place in this Phase. Prepare for upcoming matches by gathering Footballs, printing Football Cubies, and trading them on the Auction House!
Phase 2: Round of 16!
(December 3 — December 8)
- The eight Round of 16 matches occur.
- Predict the winner of each by equipping your favorite team’s Football Cubie before the match!
- For each match you predict correctly in this Phase, you will receive 1 Contest Box.
Phase 3: Quarter Finals!
(December 9 — December 12)
- The four Quarter Finals matches occur.
- Predict the winner of each by equipping your favorite team’s Football Cubie before the match!
- For each match you predict correctly in this Phase, you will receive 1 Contest Box and 10 Crystal Keys.
Phase 4: Semi Finals!
(December 13 — December 17)
- The two Semi Finals matches occur.
- Predict the winner of each by equipping your favorite team’s Football Cubie before the match!
- For each match you predict correctly in this Phase, you will receive 3 Contest Boxes and 50 Crystal Keys.
Phase 5: Final!
(December 18)
- The World Cup Final occurs.
- Predict the winner by equipping your favorite team’s Football Cubie before the match!
- If you correctly predict the winner of the World Cup Final, you will receive 5 Contest Boxes, 100 Crystal Keys, AND an all-new exclusive World Cup Champion Cubie BP handcrafted for the winning team! (The latter prize may be delivered at a later date because the Coin Hunt World art team needs time to design it after the winner is crowned.)
