Another week, another rollercoaster for cryptotraders. While the world is waiting to see what happens in regards to Bitcoin scaling problem, BTC itself soared to $2800 just to return below $2500 two days later. The future doesn’t look that bad however, with SegWit nearly finalized — as of today, 76% of Bitcoin’s mining hashrate is signaling for BIP 91.

    Jacek Czarnecki (@Jacek_Czarnecki), a lawyer specializing in blockchain technology gives an overview of the regulatory issues related to ICOs and proposed an approach that EU regulatory bodies could take.

Is the legacy of Bitcoin going to be solely its role in eliminating intermediaries and lowering currency conversion transaction costs? I think there is more here. A lot more. I believe the existence of a global currency adds one more piece of the pie to a radical shift in the structure of worldwide governance.
