I’m pretty happy to announce that CoinBlick added support for YouTube videos and can now show you the most trending videos in the Crypto space.
Since YouTube has a very large Crypto community as well and video is a very informative and efficient way to consume news, I decided to add it to CoinBlick. The image above shows the new YouTube section in the feed. For now, there’s only one (the most important one) video. The importance is based on the number of views a likes that a video received on YouTube.
You can as usual press on the section header “Trending on YouTube” to get to a feed where you basically can see all recent videos (sorted by time). Besides that, videos can be watched in full-screen, and you can, of course, press the source of the videos in the article view to see only the videos posted by that source. In the settings, you will find a new entry where you can decide if videos should be auto-played or not.
New Trending card design
I also decided to change the card design of the trending section. The problem with the old design was basically that you would have to scroll to the side to see all of the trending articles. Also, the card was not taking the full space available to indicate that more cards are on the side. Now the card takes the whole space available.
