Much News. Very Excite. Wow!

Coincards.ca has been very busy prepping for this holiday season and we have got some great things to come for all our customers. Be sure to lookout for our upcoming #BitcoinBlackFriday deals!

For now, We wanted to take some time and let you know about some of the things we have been working on in the past couple months!

Cryptoasylum.com

In August 2017, we were very excited to announce the launch of our sister site, Cryptoasylum.ca — Canada’s Official Retailer for Hardware Wallets.

Cryptoasylum.ca offers Ledger & Trezor hardware wallets at affordable rates. We import all of our inventory directly from the vendor, and we take care of customs & duties, so that you don’t have to.

When we first launched, our policy was to only accept Bitcoin & other cryptocurrencies for our products, as we truly believe that the best way to foster the crypto eco-system is by having users actively trade with their crypto. We received a significant number of customer requests to accept fiat payments (i.e. credit cards) for checkout, and after much debate among our core team, we decided to implement credit card payments as a method of payment on our site. We still whole-heartedly believe that crypto is the currency of the future, but we also know that this can’t happen overnight.

ADI Summit — Vancouver

Our team had the great opportunity of attending the ADI Summit in Vancouver, September 12–13, 2017. It was an extremely well-organized event, with countless memorable talks & presentations.

We were extremely fortunate to meet many well-known, influential members of the crypto & blockchain communities.

Our team would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their patience and understanding for any processing delays they may have experienced during our time at the summit.

Open Bazaar 2.0

On September 29, 2017, Coincards.ca sponsored #Blocktalk’s discussion with Open Bazaar 2.0’s Dev Team member, Sam Patterson. Sam gave a presentation on the history of Open Bazaar, how it operates, and how version 2.0 improves on it’s predecessor.

If you are not currently familiar with Open Bazaar, it’s a completely decentralized, online marketplace, where you can buy and sell anything, from handmade goods, hot sauce, and even Haunted Teddy Ruxpen’s.

After the presentation and Q&A, our CEO demonstrated to the attendees at Dctrl Vancouver how to open a store on Open Bazaar.
