A couple of nights ago I noticed quite a few mentions in my twitter feed from @pinkcoin_etc and wondered what was going on. After some digging I came to realize that something awesome was happening:

Coincards.ca was being used to help make a difference in someone’s life!

Pinkcoin has a pretty simple mission: to fund raise for people in need while having fun on twitter and beyond.

Pinkcoin had come up with a plan to donate their BTC to help a man, Steve, from Oliver, BC. Steven suffers from Apert syndrome and is an avid gamer. Steven had been saving a long time for a PS4 to replace his original xbox, however after he had purchased the PS4 he realized his TV was too old to connect. Feeling defeated he was going to return the PS4 and give up.

Pinkcoin took their BTC and purchased Steven a new TV from Amazon so that he could play his hard earned PS4. The Amazon.ca gift cards for the purchase were bought through Coincards.ca

Steven’s Story can be found here: http://pinkcoin.ca/recipients/

Steven now has his brand new TV, which he has his PS4 hooked upto and is ready to rock. As an added bonus, another Pinkcoin member purchased Steven a new gamer chair using Amazon.ca gift cards from Coincards.ca.

Since we felt this was such an awesome act of kindness, Coincards donated all fees from Steven’s purchases back to Pinkcoin as well as matching those amounts in additional donations.

We wish the best of luck to Steven, and urge any crypto enthusiasts out there to take a look at Pinkcoin.ca and see if you can spare any BTC to make a small difference in someone’s life!
