Panic at the Crypto
Panic selling is the act of selling large quantities of an asset due to a sudden event, such as a drop in market value or demand. While panic selling is not something you want to do often, you’ll likely feel better knowing that there’s a way to quickly sell most or all of your crypto if you need to do so.
Typically, if you want to get out of your positions you’d have to log into each of the exchanges you use individually to sell your coins. Using CoinControl’s panic sell feature, however, you can easily unload your crypto with just the tap of a button.
Preparing to Panic
You’ll want to set up your sell preferences within the CoinControl app before utilizing the panic sell feature. If something comes up, how much of each coin will you want to sell? Tap the “set” button next to each of the coins in your portfolio to determine how much will be sold if/when you tap the panic sell button in the future.
Panic Like a Pro
Once you’ve selected your settings, you’re ready to panic sell. When the time comes, tapping the red panic sell button will prompt you to either sell 100% of the coins you own or to sell according to your saved settings. Now maybe you can panic a little less knowing that you have full control over your portfolio.
