Its aim is to share opinions from people actually working in the Bitcoin industry (aka on the front line!), covering news from the week and general Bitcoin topics.
Who is behind Britcoiners?
As the CEO and co-founder of CoinCorner, a 6-year-old Bitcoin exchange, I’m a software developer by trade with towards a decade of experience in the Bitcoin industry, including mining, running a leading exchange, dealing with regulators, banking issues, and Bitcoin Core contributions.
Molly is our marketing guru and has been leading CoinCorner’s marketing efforts for the last 5 years. Covering every aspect of marketing and SEO in this fast-paced industry with almost zero budget and constant industry-wide bans on where Bitcoin companies can advertise, thinking outside of the box has become second nature to her.
Zakk has spent 3 years with us so far and is our expert on the tech front, as well as being a contributor to Bitcoin Core. He’s quickly becoming quite the expert in all things Lightning Network too.
What makes Britcoiners different?
There are plenty of Bitcoin podcasts out there doing a great job, but we felt that there was a gap for a short “21-minute” long episode, covering industry insider opinions on news that week.
The industry is full of constant noise, 24/7/365, and keeping up with it can be hard. We wanted to identify the important stories from the week and give our opinions, hopefully helping to weed out the noise so that you don’t need to pay attention to it.
We’re all very passionate about Bitcoin. We live, eat and breathe it which makes it slightly (only slightly!) easier for us to stay up-to-date with what’s happening.
