How to add the CoinCrowd Custom Token (XCC) to MetaMask
This guide explains briefly how to get MetaMask and how to add the XCC token to MetaMask. If you already have a MetaMask account you can jump straight to point 2. Otherwise follow the instructions in the next paragraph to download MetaMask and create an account.
1. Setting up MetaMask
MetaMask is a browser extension that allows you to access Ethereum dapps directly from your browser, if you do not have it yet, get it on metamask.io.
You can get MetaMask for Google Chrome but also for Firefox or Brave Browser. Select your browser of choice and add the extension.

You can always access MetaMask simply by clicking on the fox icon on the top right corner of your browser.
Create a new vault by inserting a safe password. Save the seed phrase you are given somewhere safe and secret. You can restore all your accounts on MetaMask using the seed phrase, this also means that if your seed is stolen all your accounts are compromised.
You now have an account on MetaMask. To create a new account or import one, click on the icon circled in red in the image below.
2. Adding the token
Once you opened your account, click on the TOKENS tab and then on ADD TOKEN.
Copy the contract address 0x4d829f8c92a6691c56300d020c9e0db984cfe2ba in the designated field. Metamask should automatically recognize it as XCC tokens, then click on “Add”.
Now the XCC token should be listed among your tokens.
Once you have sent Ethereum to the CoinCrowd token sale address via MetaMask, the amount of token you purchased should be visible here.
Remember: DO NOT send Ethereum from an exchange, always use a wallet like MetaMask or MyEtherWallet.
