CoinFly is a one-stop platform for all your mining needs. From optimizing your equipment to tuning it online — we’ve got you fully covered. Setting up our OS is fast and easy and you can start mining with us in just a matter of minutes.

Whether you’re an experienced miner or just preparing to embark on your first mining journey, CoinFly has a lot to offer.

In this guide we will describe the basic installation steps and make your onboarding process even smoother.

Create An Account

If you’ve already created an account on CoinFly, all you need to do is login. Otherwise, register a new one. We will ask you to confirm your email and send you an activation link.

Security should always be your priority. We recommend you to protect your account via Google Authenticator or Authy. Go to Settings, click on the Authentication tab and enable the option.

Connect your rigs

After you successfully created and protected your account you need to start the system. Click on the ‘Engage’ tab where you will see the options that you’ve got.

Step 1: Meet the conditions and download our maker utility

Choose option ‘A’ if you want to join our beta-testing campaign or simply try mining with CoinFly.

Make sure you’ve got everything and tick the boxes when asked.

  • A USB flash drive with minimum 4 GB of free space (all the data will be erased during the installation process!)
  • PC to download the installer on the flash drive
  • Wired and stable internet connection
  • A mining rig. Mining GPU: nVidia CUDA 10 compatible, AMD RX550 and newer with minimum 4 Gb RAM. SSD recommended.

After you prepare everything, you’ll need to download COS flash maker utility, available for Windows and Linux.

Step 2: Prepare your flash drive

  • Launch COS flash maker utility
  • Select “Download LiveUSB version”
  • Plug your flash drive and pick it for flashing and flash it

If you’re using Windows, the system will probably try to block the software due to safety reasons. Don’t worry, it is completely safe and won’t harm your device in any way. Choose Run Anyway option and proceed.

Step 3: Connect the flash drive

Do not restart your PC while the flash drive is inserted in your PC’s USB port, otherwise the OS will be installed on your computer instead of the rig!

Remove the flash drive from the computer and plug it into the rig.

Step 4: Boot up the rig from the flash drive

  • Open the BIOS/UEFI menu at your rig and enable “Boot from USB” option
  • Switch off Secure boot option if it is present
  • Reboot the rig
  • COS will be launched automatically from LiveUSB flash drive

Step 5: Wait for your rig to appear on the CoinFly portal

You’ve done your part so all you have to do is wait 5 to 10 minutes for rig to boot and establish connection with CoinFly portal.

Congratulations, you can start mining with CoinFly now!

What’s Next?

Now you can test mining with us and use our centralized CoinFly portal to manage your rigs and profits. At this stage we do not charge any commission fees and you can enjoy all the benefits of our platform for free!
