Over the last few years, digital currency talk on Twitter has morphed from a small corner of the platform to thousands of accounts with passionate audiences numbering in the millions.

The massive influx of thought leadership, news, comedy and more that Crypto Twitter has provided the industry is invaluable but figuring out what accounts to can be intimidating which is why our staff put together 10 Crypto Twitter accounts you must follow.

Happy tweeting!

Pomp AKA Anthony Pompliano

Pomp is the founder of Morgan Creek Digital and the host of the Off the Chain Podcast, a favorite around the Coinme offices. He is known for many things but his “Week in Crypto” and “Long bitcoin, short the bankers” tweets have become so popular you may even see him on CNBC or Bloomberg sharing his optimistic takes on the market.

Vitalik Buterin

Vitalik is about as well known in the crypto space as you can get. The co-founder of Etherum is incredibly active on Twitter and someone that actually responds to tweets, both positive and negative. His knowledge of not just digital currencies but blockchain, on the whole, makes him a must follow. Plus, he is pretty funny too.

Crypto Bobby

A personal favorite of our Private Client Advisor, Brent Lyman, Crypto Bobby tells it like it is. No fluff, no B.S. His website includes tools and resources you can use to study, invest, and participate in the industry as well as links to his YouTube videos and his podcast. He is like that buddy you have who will drink you under the table but is also low-key a genius.

Amber Baldet

Amber is the former blockchain program lead at JP Morgan and is currently serving as the CEO of Clovyr which provides “a unified way to create, deploy, manage, and extend applications.” A member of Forbes 40 Under 40 and CoinDesk’s 10 Most Influential in Blockchain, she is brilliant and witty, bringing a much-needed dose of humanity to Crypto Twitter.

Meltem Demirors

While her technical title is Chief Strategy Officer of CoinShares, Meltem’s twitter bio starts with “making benevolent mischief” which is enough to land anyone on this list. She helped create the MIT “Future of Commerce” online course and the Oxford Saïd Business School Blockchain Strategy Program so we know she is brilliant and she shares that knowledge (and unicorns) on her feed daily.

Rahul Sood

Rahul created Microsoft Ventures, founded Voodoo (acquired by HP) and Vrvana (acquired by Apple) before teaming founding Unikrn, one of the world’s leading esports companies which builds “extensive crossroads through betting, blockchain, content, and experiences” (which also happens to be funded by Mark Cuban). His eyes for disruption plus his ability to speak to the gaming and crypto crowd make his account one of a kind. If you like esports, hit the follow button.

Messari

The only non-human to make the list, Messari is on a mission to promote transparency in crypto. They tweet news from the industry in a fair and balanced way and their website is complete with a beautiful search feature for those digging into people or projects in the space.

Leah Wald

A former economist at World Bank, Leah is a brilliant mind and wonderful account to follow. As the EVP and Partner of Lucid Investment Strategies, Leah helps provide services to those looking for safe exposure to digital assets like Bitcoin. If you are a fan of charts (with live videos explaining them), add her to your follows.

Preethi Kasireddy

Her bio says it all. Founder/CEO at TruStory, formerly of Coinbase, A16Z, and Goldman Sachs. A CryptoTwitter favorite, she tweets nuggets of wisdom about the industry and also shares incredible advice for anyone working in tech today.

Andreas M. Antonopoulos

Andreas has arguably provided more value to the bitcoin ecosystem than anyone not named Satoshi Nakamoto. The author of ‘Mastering Bitcoin’ and ‘Mastering Ethereum,’ Andreas is one of the most prominent bitcoin ambassadors on the planet and delivers that message monthly from stages across the world and daily on Twitter.
