MetaMask Plugin Guide For Chrome
We recommend that our novice Token Generation Event (TGE) participants use the MetaMask Chrome plugin. MetaMask is an Ethereum extension for your Chrome browser that can be used to create a digital wallet to store, send and receive Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens. Metamask can be used to receive CMA tokens purchased during the Coin Mine Australia TGE.
1. Install The Plugin
To install the MetaMask plugin visit the Chrome Web Store: https://bit.ly/MetaMask. Click “Add to Chrome” and then read the plugin permissions, if you agree click the “Add Extension” button to add the extension to your Chrome browser.
2. Plugin Activation
After the plugin has installed find the MetaMask icon at the top right corner of your browser window. Click the MetaMask icon, read the Privacy Notice and if you want to proceed click “Accept”. Repeat for the terms and conditions screen.
3. Create Your MetaMask Account
In the following screen you are asked to create a password for your account. Please use a strong password, we recommend it to be at least 8 characters long and include letters (both upper and lower case), digits and symbols. After you have entered your password click “Create”.
4. Save Your Seed Words
MetaMask will provide you with a list of seed words. Copy or download these and keep them in a safe place. Your seed words will be the only way to regain access to your account if you need to restore it. Keep them safe and do not share them with anyone.
5. Your Account
Congratulations! You have now successfully created your MetaMask Ethereum account and you’re ready to participate in the CMA TGE. Within MetaMask you can copy your Ethereum address to the clipboard, This is your public address and is safe to be shared with CMA to receive your tokens.
