Solana, one of the top 10 ranking crypto companies has decided to take decentralization to a whole new level and announced at an event in New York Times, the launch of the Solana Mobile Stack (SMS) software for Android, along with an upcoming Android smartphone called Saga.

Saga is the upcoming Solana smartphone to be developed by Solana Labs in conjunction with other companies. This smartphone has been said to have amazing web3 features which will mark a new era in the history of technology.
The device is said to enhance certain crypto functionalities such as mobile wallet adapter, easy minting (which includes the buying and selling of NFTs from anywhere in the world), launching of web3 dapps (Which will give easy access to web3 applications on Solana), and a “seed vault”, which will help keep users’ private information protected from attacks and exploitations. Furthermore, it will also comprise of a G1 processor, 12gb ram and 512 gb storage plus a 6.67 OLED display. And it will be the first tester of the Solana mobile Stack (SMS) software.
According to the Solana Labs CEO, Anatoly Yakovenko, this smartphone is expected to cost about $1000, at retail price and early buyers are said to receive a Saga pass, which is a limited edition NFT that signifies the launch of the phone.
