Bitcoin Cash Lightning Network Imminent!
More currencies are planning to join Lightning Network as it gets bigger and more mature. It’s even become a buzzword for currencies that I haven’t even seen on the network yet. BTC is still dominant, with LTC coming in on second place.
More merchants are adopting and the size of the exchanges joining are getting bigger and bigger.
I’ve tried both in theory and in reality to find flaws with LN, but so far i’ve failed to find anything alarming.
Of course, just like blockchain Layer1 is improving over time, so is Layer2. Since Satoshis Original Vision of payment channels, there have been many improvements to Layer2 and it is still improved and discussed.
Roger Ver follows that trend, probably because he strongly believes in Satoshis vision about using payment channels to minimize blocksize, and has said that when Lightning Network is working, it will work even better on BCH. I’ve failed to find any trustworthy information on how it will be implemented on BCH because of the unfortunate lack of segwit. Some BCH supporters believe that BCH will implement SIGHASH_NOINPUT before BTC does, which would be even better for LN. The bet is on!

But, what are you waiting for? LN is already working, if the definition of "working" is that a payment from point A to point B works. Does all micropayments of BTC/LTC go over LN? Certainly not. Will LN be improved even more? Certainly. Will all major currencies join in one way or the other? I think so.
There is no point in waiting to be the last one that joins. Maybe Roger Ver can give us an estimated time for when we can see Lightning on BCH, or a redefinition of what "working" means. You are welcome, any time! Join ASAP to be prepared when people start doing decentralized atomic swaps between currencies on LN! What is the worst thing that could happen?
