Blockchain Bets $BCB — An Introduction in to Decentralised Gambling
If you’re into Crypto and have scrolled Twitter recently, it’s likely you’ve come across decentralised gambling platforms in some form or other. Lots of tokens are joining in on the hype with zero and/or minimal utility, but there are some that have solid foundations and developers that understand what a decentralised gambling platform should offer, enter Blockchain Bets.
Humble Beginnings
Blockchain Bets was born from World Cup Inu, a betting platform dedicated to providing decentralised betting odds for the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup. After significant success test piloting the platform and gaining significant interest from World class footballers past and present, such as Luis Suarez and Ronaldinho to name a few, the development team decided to take it to the next level in 2023.
Community Tokenomics
Blockchain Bets has been created with the community at the heart. It is the first, and only platform of it’s kind that offers a staking programme that provides 100% of the profits directly to stakers. That means if they made $1b in profit for the year, each token staked at the time of writing (currently 380m, 43% circulating supply), would return $2.63 per token. This would likely value the token price at a 5–10x multiple of the profit per token. The $1b figure hasn’t been plucked from thin air either, Entain made this is profit in 2022, and separately, Denise Coates (CEO of Bet365) earned a salary of £213.4m for the year.
How much is each token right now? A mere $0.007. You don’t need to be an accountant to do the math here.
