Token Overview — End of August
Price Per Token (Month end): $0.01072
Total Market Cap: $9.41m
Token Holders: 3,150
$BCB gained another 220 holders in August based on Etherscan tracking, a further increase of community holders from July, with both months totaling over 750 new holders. Total market cap has however seen a decline to $9.41m and with September next up, the price could take a bit of a beating if market sentiment repeats for crypto in general.
Customer Platform Engagement
Total Volume gambled through the Sportsbook v1 and v2 for August was $342,929. Platform profit for August was $2,305.
Total Volume gambled through Casino and Arcades games for August was $644,561. Platform profit for August was $47,858.
Month to Month comparison is as follows:
August saw some pretty big wins for users on the Sportbook, which saw users winning over $14,000 on one day (share the tips guys!) Despite this, the Sportsbook provided $2,305 in payouts to $BCB stakers. Bets placed on both the Sportsbook and Casino totaled $987,490 for the month, which is a platform high since April. The Casino was the real winner for stakers in August though, as they shared $47,858 between them!
Staking Pool Overview
Staking on the platform has increased from 44% to 46% of the total circulating supply. This is roughly 407m $BCB, leaving a circulating supply of 471m. Furthermore, 37m is currently held within $BCB reserves.
Holders are slowly increasing their staking within the platform, likely generated by the onboarding of new investors and the increase in payouts to stakers this month. Hopefully Blockchain Bets can kick on from here and provide their community with strong revenue share returns.
Platform Updates
Platform Updates for August can be noted as follows:
- Since launch BCB has seen over $8m in volume staked within it’s platform offers, which include 4000+ Casino games from over 50+ providers, 7 BCB Original games, and over 50+ live sports to bet on.
- Sportsbook v1 and v2 continues to be tested by the community, with feedback being reviewed and changes implemented on a daily basis. The team have also started works on a full UX/UI platform upgrade.
- Poker has had robust Beta testing through a closed Beta, holder Beta and public Beta. There has also been additional features and updates being worked on in the background to improve the UX.
- Poker will have a grand opening tournament worth $10,000 happening on 17th September 2023. More details on this later!

The Poker Grand Opening Tournament
Scheduled for 17th September at 8pm UTC, the $BCB Poker Grand Opening Tournament is ready to go. Players will need to hold or stake 50k $BCB before the tournament start time to be eligible for prizes, which total a whopping $10,000 paid out to the top 20 players.
You’ll notice it states it’s a free roll tournament and that’s right, it’s free to enter for all. You’ll only be eligible for prizes if you’re holding/staking 50k BCB though so get those tokens ready!
