Blockchain Bets ($BCB) — The Betoshi Monthly — July 2023
The Betoshi Monthly provides an overview of all key developments and achievements for the $BCB token and Blockchain Bets platform over the past month into a clear, concise article to help keep the community up to date.
Token Overview
Price Per Token (Month end): $0.01165
Total Market Cap: $10.23m
Token Holders: 2,930
$BCB gained 532 holders this month based on Etherscan tracking, a huge increase for the community and a long time coming. Total market cap also nearly doubled at months end, with $BCB actually reaching a mid month high of $0.022! A new floor has been held here, and it’s likely well see more positive growth over the next month.
Customer Platform Engagement
Total Volume gambled through the Sportsbook v1 and v2 for July was $320,239. Platform profit for July was -$5,635.
Total Volume gambled through Casino and Arcades games for July was $352,305. Platform profit for July was -$5,105.
Month to Month comparison is as follows:
July saw some pretty big wins for users on both the Sportsbook and the Casino, where one user actually pulled off a 1000x win on one of the slots for $4000 profit, well played! Despite the minimal losses sustained, there are major positives for this month.
The combined volume for the Sportsbook and Casino increased to $672,544 for the month, which brings us back to pre summer levels. This is very bullish, as there hasn’t really been anything substantial in the sports betting world for genuine users to engage with. This all changes mid August of course, where major sports start coming back thick and fast. Therefore, expect to see a big uptick in betting volume as we head into September.
Next month I will also be reporting on Poker revenue from rakes, as it is all but ready and users will be hitting the tables hard to test their skills.
Staking Pool Overview
Staking on the platform has dropped to 44% of the total circulating supply. This is roughly 383m $BCB, leaving a circulating supply of 495m. Furthermore, 39m is currently held within $BCB reserves.
For context, the staking has dropped to 44% likely due to a few reasons, but mainly as the price surged to $0.022 mid month after sitting around $0.06 the month before. It was therefore expected that some users would take profits, which has provided many new holders with opportunities to join at what I still feel is a fantastic entry point.
Platform Updates
Platform Updates for July/August can be noted as follows:
- Since launch BCB has seen over $6.9m in volume staked within it’s platform offers, which include 4000+ Casino games from over 50+ providers, 7BCB Original games, and over 50+ live sports to bet on.
- Sportsbook v2 continues to be tested by the community, with feedback being reviewed and changes implemented on a daily basis. A big architectural change is currently taking place, which will enable the platform to handle the growing userbase with ease.
- The BCB Dashboard has been reviewed and will include clearer details for stakers, including max limits changing to values, and the information being made clearer to understand.
- Poker has been Beta tested and the final bugs and fixes are currently taking place. Expect a full launch in August!
- Work has started on reviewing BCB’s Fantasy League development.
- Bingo and Scratchcards are currently in the planning phase, and will be nice additions to BCBs growing platform offer.
- Discord launch is imminent, and will include a range of channels to suit users wants and needs for all sports and activities, as well as a separate spaces to discuss token price, for the community to relax and engage as well as all the educational information people want to know.

Blockchain Bets Twitter Data
Blockchain Bets started the month with 9606 Twitter followers and ended with 10720, an increase of 1114 followers, or a 11.6% increase for the month. Over this period, the BCBERC20 account created 87 Tweets. It’s currently graded as a C+ on Social Blade vs the database.
Given BCB only aims to obtain organic followers, an 11.6% increase over the month is extremely pleasing to see. Lets’ hope for another rewarding month on socials, and if you’re not already following, no excuses, click the Twitter link here and drop a follow.
Poker Teaser
We know this has been a long time coming, but trust me as a BETA tester it’s going to blow this sector wide open. A lot of work has gone into making Poker an A++ platform from the get go.

As far as the testing goes, smaller tweaks such as personalised names and views have been added, as well as player preference functions to suit individual play styles and needs:
Wallet integration is currently being finalised for seamless deposits, as well as some pretty cool marketing plans including tournaments to promote the launch. All I can say is watch this space for Poker, it’s going to be great and you’re going to want to be involved!
