Gaming Altcoins that will EXPLODE in the 2024 Crypto BULLRUN
Gaming is one of the top narratives for the next crypto bull run, and it’s for a good reason. The main problem with crypto games was that they simply were not fun to play.
But now, we’re starting to see games that even I would want to play for the sole purpose of playing, rather than it being a play-to-earn.
We’re seeing huge game developers and studios joining the Web 3 space now.
In this blog, I’ll share four gaming altcoins that I think have massive potential for the next bull run. I’ll give an overview of each project, discuss recent price action, and go over what makes each project unique.

Alright, let’s get started with the first altcoin on today’s list: Shrap, which belongs to the Shrapnel project.
1. Shrap
I think this is one of the best-looking games of all in my opinion. So, everyone has been talking about this game, and it’s leading the pack over at the AVAC gaming ecosystem. The graphics and gameplay are amazing from the demos they’ve released.
Shrapnel is a competitive multiplayer first-person shooter game where each piece of gear is an NFT asset, and players can fight to earn loot from others or from winning games and challenges. Their token, Strap, will be used for governance and many other use cases, such as it being the main currency not only for earning in-game but also for their marketplace where assets can be traded.
It’s currently sitting at around the 26 cent mark after taking a pullback with the rest of the market, but overall, it’s up over 150% in the year. Personally, I’ll be taking this opportunity to continue to dollar-cost-average, and dips are the best time to do this.
We haven’t seen Trap at these prices since the beginning of December last year as the price hit its all-time high at over 43 cents on December 5th. Going into the bull market, I think we can see a big push from Shrap. Shrapnel’s team is one with an insane resume, having worked on major releases like Halo, Assassin’s Creed, Borderlands, Hitman, World of Warcraft, and more.
They’ve worked with studios like Activision Blizzard, Take-Two Interactive, and Ubisoft. One of their writers is Derek Colad, the writer of the John Wick series. So, with that kind of experience, I think the storyline could be amazing. Definitely can’t wait to see what’s in store for this project and test it out for myself.
Now, if you are looking to buy these coins, make sure that you know for a fact that your phone, computer, wallets, and accounts are all protected from data leaks and hackers. I’ve seen too many people think it won’t happen to them and end up getting hacked and losing their crypto gains, and I’ve been a victim of this myself.
2. SEEDIFY
This one is not a game itself, but it’s a launchpad focused on the gaming space. With the gaming sector seeing a lot of hype, you’ll find lots of gaming projects out there, and I’ve mentioned some of the good ones on my channel. But overall, it can be a huge pain to sort through tons of gaming projects just to find out which ones can be winners.
Launchpads like SEEDIFY work to help you discover these projects before release and help with fundraising and marketing for the project. On their website, you can see their history of successfully launched projects that have earned massive ROIs for their investors. I think launchpads are going to be a huge proponent of this bull run, and we’ve seen evidence of this in the past bull run. But if you’re looking for gaming picks, SEEDIFY is focused on gaming specifically, so you should definitely check it out.
Now, in order to access the launchpad, you need to stake the S Fund token. In 2021, we saw S Fund hit an all-time high of almost $17 on November 28th. Since then, it trailed back down until recently where we saw a push upwards as the market began to rally.
But we did see another pullback in the last little while, which provides another opportunity to dollar-cost-average. In the past year, the token is up over 350%, but I think there’s a long way to go as we head into the bull cycle. Recently, the team announced that they are going to be increasing allocations by a significant amount. This means investors will be able to put more money into SEEDIFY projects. We’re talking about initial game offering rounds above $2 million.
So, I’m personally going to be keeping an eye on their upcoming launches and look for games that are polished and that I genuinely think I’d be interested in playing.
3. Immutable Games
Moving on to coin number three, let’s talk about Immutable Games. Immutable is a platform for developers that wish to build and scale Web 3 games on Ethereum in a simple manner. Their platform provides users with every imaginable tool to develop and manage Web 3 games. They also have one of the largest collections of games and apps built on their platform, including Gods Unchained, Guild of Guardians, Ovium, Hobo X, IMVU, Gary V’s Vriends, and more.
Their goal is to allow developers to build on their platform easily and quickly without compromising on security. They’re known for their zero-knowledge scaling solutions called Immutable X and Immutable ZK EVM or Zero Knowledge EVM.
The Immutable ZK EVM is their newer solution, which aims to achieve scalability, low cost, and Ethereum security. These rollups allow transactions to be batched together to be sent to the Ethereum network for verification as a single transaction. And you can see their solution comparison table here.
Their other products include a passport feature, which is a custom wallet that can allow users that don’t have much experience with crypto tools like Metamask to have their own in-game wallet through just an email. They have their own order book and marketplace, minting tools, software development kits to make launching games easier, and tons more.
Their token, IMX, reached its all-time high of $9.50 back in November of 2021. Shortly after being released, since then, it has been trending downwards with a few rallies along the way. The most recent rally was with the rest of the market, but recently, we are seeing a slight pullback near the $2 mark. The last time it was at this price point was in April of 2022.
The token is still up over 400% in the year, and I think there’s a lot more upside to come in the bull cycle, especially going into 2024. After making some major announcements just this past November, they announced their partnership with Ubisoft.
With Immutable’s insanely huge ecosystem and Ubisoft’s experience in developing top games, this is a huge partnership. They’re also partnered with Amazon, Merit Circle DAO, and more.
So, with all of this said, I’m pretty bullish on this project and will definitely be keeping an eye on more news to come.
4. Ready Games
Their goal is to try and bring the Web 2 gaming ecosystem over to Web 3. They do this in two ways. First, through their layer 3 software as a service, which allows developers to build games that allow players to onboard the Web 3 space in-game. And secondly, they allow game assets and data to easily migrate between blockchain providers without any issues in-game.
The main focus is to simply lower the barrier to adoption and enable interoperability across games so that developers, players, and creators have an enjoyable experience.
In 2024, they’re looking to launch their token, Ready X or $RDYX, to the public, introduce staking for this token, and release governance programs as well.
This token will also be used to reward devs, creators, and players to incentivize early building and adoption. You’ll notice on their website their products include Dev to Earn, Create to Earn, and Play to Earn. RDYX will also be used to support NFT minting, and players and creators can spend this token on in-game items that they can own the rights to.
