The generative artificial intelligence revolution, which started with ChatGPT, continues to appear in all areas of the technology world. Last January, Google, one of the companies working in the field of generative artificial intelligence technologies, officially announced its ChatGPT rival, Bard.

Entering the generative artificial intelligence solutions market with Bard, Google aims to make generative artificial intelligence solutions available for other tools as well. According to a report shared by Axios, Google will power one of its popular solutions, Google Assistant, with a Bard-like generative artificial intelligence.

Google Assistant is a virtual helper used in smartphones and home automation devices

Google Assistant serves as a “voice assistant”, one of the two most popular voice assistants of today, together with Siri, can fulfill many requests of its users, especially on mobile devices.

At the moment, there is clue about what kind of learning Google Assistant will have with generative artificial intelligence technology. Serving as a personal assistant for its users, Google Assistant can be used for task management, answering simple questions, smartphone management, getting information and much more. It would not be wrong to say that these features will come at a higher level with generative artificial intelligence.

ChatGPT support came for Bing, “Microsoft’s internet browser”, in the past months. Bing’s usage rates increased rapidly with ChatGPT support. Google’s addition of generative AI features to Assistant could create a similar situation.
