How to buy coins early before they get listed on Binance
I’ve been following the price action of cryptocurrencies that get listed on Binance, and in the vast majority of cases, these coins see a short of long-term pump. Sometimes both.
The typical scenario is that they pump upon listing, followed by a significant correction in price.
I’ve seen this happen time and time again and have formulated a strategy around it. I would build a bot that buys a coin right as it gets listed on Binance.
This was my starting point, and I realised that it’s a lot harder to exploit this pump than expected. The first bot I built saw a 5 second before placing the first trade, often missing out on the alpha.
It was clear that buying the listing was not the way to go. So, I decided to buy the announcement instead. Instead of buying the coin as soon as it becomes available for trading on Binance, I would scan the Binance announcement page, and once Binance announces that they will list a coin, I would then purchase that coin ahead of the listing on a separate exchange.
