How to connect LCD display to your Raspberry pi 3 (IoT)

This is the first episode of a series that will explain how to use a Raspberry pi in the IoT world. We will start connecting the raspberry pi 3 to an LCD display.

Raspberry pi is a small and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming. For more informations you can visit their website or also you can find online a lot of resources and code related to it.

This tutorial will be straightforward, as all my tutorials/articles, and we will get quick to the point without any prolix description.

Before coding it is important to connect your Raspberry pi 3 to your external device that in our case is an LCD display.

In this case we are using a standard LCD 1602 (16 characters for 2 lines).

It is important that we understand how to connect them having a look at the electrical schema of your LCD display and your pi.
