Hey everyone, my dApp is #10 in the world on www.etherscan.io for erc721 tokens. The concept of non-fungible tokens on ether is very new and not many dApps like mine exist on the blockchain.

What does it mean to be verified and in the top 10 of etherscan? Etherscan.io is the main place for people to go and explore the blockchain, interact with applications, view dApp info and find the value of projects etc. If someone makes it on to this list they are basically guaranteed publicity and active users. It’s a very big deal and could launch anyone to the next level.

I do know that all this web3, blockchain, decentralized applications stuff is foreign to most of you but it is becoming more mainstream everyday and with some help from my friends and readers maybe I can create a successful software company.

Want to help? If I can get a few friends/readers to create tokens and send them to each other we could move Document to the top 3 on etherscan.io. I don’t charge anything for the tokens, the Ethereum Virtual Machine(EVM) only asks for a small amount of “gas”, about 13 cents per token.

How does it work? You will need to use a laptop or desktop with google chrome installed.

  1. When you go to https://www.qwoyn.io/Document using your browser, you will receive an error message once there. This message is asking you to install the metamask chrome extension. (Metamask is an ethereum wallet, it will inject web3 into your browser and allow you to interact with all ethereum dApps).
Please install the metamask extension and click on it once installed, then follow the steps to create a new account. Once you have created an account you can use the application.
  2. Next reload the webpage and scroll down. You will see a box with a button “Document an item”. When you click this button a form will open.
  3. Simply fill out the form, click submit and close the success message. This will take you back to the dApp page.
  4. Underneath the button you pressed to open the form you will see another button “update eth blockchain”. When you click this button metamask will open and ask you if you would like to submit.
  5. If you choose to submit, the transaction will be signed and sent to the blockchain. You will also recieve a transaction ID in case you want to check the progress on www.etherescan.io.
  6. Once the transaction, after a few minutes, is verified you will receive a token with the information you provided in the form.

I know these instructions seem long but actually this is very easy to use and most of it besides the metamask part should be familiar. Here are some pics of the process.

Visit https://qwoyn.io/Document
Install Metamask
Click to Document an Item
Fill out Form and click submit
Close this message
Update blockchain
Submit or Reject Transaction
DQMT in Wallet, add token button on right if you don’t see your token.

If all went well you should see something similar in metamask. Don’t forget to add the token at address: 0x35848B4eaB8F946Ca7774C5a5e2C14CEae5c3870

Basically you are 1) visiting my site, 2) clicking a button to fill out a form then 3) clicking another button to submit the info, something everyone does everyday.

Again, if I can get my friends and readers to create a few tokens and send them around, give this article much applause, share it on twitter, facebook etc… maybe I can rise to the next level in the crypto world. Thanks for reading. Hit me up with questions!
