How use Ledger in ZilPay wallet.
This article presents to you on how to connect your very own Ledger Nano S hardware wallet to ZilPay. I hope this article will be useful as a guide to you!
Step 1: Installing the Ledger Nano S app
- Download Ledger Live on your computer using the link below: https://shop.ledger.com/pages/ledger-live;
- Navigate to the
Managertab, search Zilliqa in the application.
- Install Zilliqa application.
When the application is installed you will see on your device.
Step 2: Accessing your wallet via Ledger Nano S
After successfully installing the Ledger Nano S app, you need to install the ZilPay wallet in your browser. ZilPay is supported: FireFox, Chrome and Opera:
Move to account manager.
To connect ZilPay with you Ledger, let us “Import” the account via “Hardware” and choose “Ledger” as the preferred option.
Key in an account index (starting from Zero) and click on the “CONNECT” button. You will then be prompted to confirm the generation of the public key on your Ledger Nano S device.
Confirm by pressing the right button and you shall see your imported wallet address on ZilPay!
Step 3: Sending a transaction on ZilPay via Ledger Nano S.

Confirm the transaction.
When you confirmed your transaction you will see:
Now you need to confirm again on your Ledger nano-s device.
Now that your transaction to the Zilliqa blackchain has been authorized and broadcasted, simply wait for the transaction to be included in the next block and it will be confirmed;
You can navigate to the explorer viewblock.io to check the status of your transaction!
Great! Now you can send and store your ZIL coin. It is a simple process to safeguard your ZIL coin with the help of a Ledger Nano S device.
With this integration, you will be able to sign and send any payment transactions via the Ledger Nano S device.
