After more than half a year of development in the shadows, we are very happy to announce this great step for the expansion of SpaceRiders. In case you are an active reader of our social networks you will have already heard about this wonderful news, officially on 18.05.2022 we will open the doors of the Alpha version of SpaceRiders.

What does this version include?

The alpha version of a product is a key element for its validation and development and according to Wikipedia is defined as follows:

This is the first full version of the program, which is sent to the testers for testing.

SpaceRiders is currently offering its version on the Binance Smart Chain Testnet. We warn you in advance that this network may suffer from congestion, affecting the game’s performance. Without further ado, this edition includes the following features:

Login functionality FILTERED by NFT with MetaMask wallet.
SPR/BUSD Swap tool.
NFT Minting of Planets with Purchasing Power.
NFT Claim.
ALL ORIGINAL graphic designs and displayed in HQ.
All functional in-game elements such as mines, warehouses, facilities, research and defense. Production values and level-up time are place-holders pending completion of the in-game economy.

How can I access the alpha version?

By now we imagine you’re wondering how you can get to play this version… Don’t worry, we’ll explain it right now, are you ready?

As a team we believe that this privilege cannot be given in vain, that’s why we have chosen to create a unique NFT Ticket system. To gain access to the alpha version of SpaceRiders you must have an NFT Ticket, which will be distributed in different rounds with the procedure detailed in the Generation and Distribution section.

NFTs attributes

These NFTs consist of three attributes that determine their rarity and value, as well as their functionalities. At SpaceRiders we always opt for innovation and differentiation in everything we do, so you will probably be surprised by the existing attributes.

Generation

Initially NFTs of gen 0 and gen 1 will be minted, the generation will directly influence the lifetime, the expiration date. In the section Ticket Generations you can see more details.

Expiration date

Unlike all other NFTs so far, the tickets have an expiration date, for example 06/09/2022 04:20:15. This does not mean that the NFT will disappear out of the blue, but that it will lose its access to the alpha version unless it is merged with another one.

Time of access

This feature tells us the remaining duration of access to the alpha version of SpaceRiders on the Testnet. It can indicate a specific time (Extensible Access), such as 2 weeks, or LIFETIME, which means that the access is preserved for life. The access time is independent of generation, so any generation can have limited access time tickets as well as lifetime access tickets.

Generation & Distribution

NFT Tickets Generation 0

This generation of Non-Fungible-Tokens is only and exclusively intended for team members, content creators and external collaborators of the project. Therefore this genesis generation does not have a limited supply, as it will be a reward for the contribution to the dissemination and improvement of SpaceRiders. It should be noted that these NFTs can only be minted and delivered by the SpaceRiders team.

This generation 0 will not be initially available for purchase on any marketplace, as the SpaceRiders team will distribute them directly to the previously mentioned users. However, the holders of these NFTs will be able to list them in any marketplace if they wish to do so.

As we have explained in the section NFTs Attributes, these tickets will have a determined duration, there are tickets with temporary access and tickets with lifetime access, these being meticulously delivered to great collaborators of the project. The lifespan of the NFTs that we give will be considering the level of collaboration and commitment with SpaceRiders of the collaborator.

NFT Tickets Generation 1

Unlike generation 0, generation 1 NFTs will be for all audiences.

These NFTs can be obtained by keeping an eye on SpaceRiders’ networks, and those of its content creator, as different Raffles will be held through them.

There will also be some SELECTED content CREATORS to be announced soon, who will also have this EXCLUSIVITY.

But don’t worry, if you’ve been unlucky, there will also be a VERY FEW UNITS for sale in the TofuNFT Marketplace.

Generation 1 Initial Supply:

Extensible Access: 45 NFT
LIFETIME Access: 5 NFT
Total Supply of Gen 1 Tickets: 50 NFT

They will be distributed as follows:

Extensible Access — Raffled by SpaceRiders and external collaborators: 35 NFT
Extensible Access — On sale at TofuNFT Marketplace: 5 NFT x 25BUSD/NFT
Extensible Access — For Special Events: 5 NFT
LIFETIME Access — Raffled by SpaceRiders and external collaborators: 4 NFT
LIFETIME Access — On sale at TofuNFT Marketplace: 1 NFT X 100BUSD/NFT

Depending on the Generation the Total Supply may be increased, this correlates with a key aspect in the section on NFTs Fusion.

Duration of Extensible Access Tickets

The duration of the tickets varies according to the generation. Generation 1 is the starting point, so it is the generation with the longest duration: 2 months. Each generation lasts 1 week less than the previous one. Let’s exemplify it:

Gen 1 Extensible Access Tickets have a duration of 2 Months.
Gen 2 Extensible Access Tickets have a duration of 1 month and 3 weeks.
Gen 3 Extensible Access Tickets have a duration of 1 month and 2 weeks.
And so on until we reach Gen 8.
Gen 8 Extensible Access Tickets have a duration of 1 week.

In case of surpassing Generation 8, the maximum number of Generations to be minted will be 10 Generations. Both Gen 8 as well as Gen 9 & 10 would have a duration of 1 week.

NFTs Fusion

As you may have read in the NFT Attributes section, the tickets to access the alpha version of SpaceRiders have an expiration date, which once reached, you will no longer have access to it. But this has a solution, to allow users to play longer, we have enabled the NFT Fusion. How does it work? Simple, let us explain it to you.

The fusion of NFTs, as the name suggests, consists of merging two NFTs to reset their expiration date or to obtain LIFETIME access. Fusions must be between NFTs of the same generation, in case of trying to merge two NFTs of different generations it will fail. Fusion requirements for Gen 1 NFTs are the following:

Reset expiration date: merge 2 NFTs of the same generation.
Get LIFETIME access: merge 5 NFTs of the same generation.

Once you have merged the required amount of NFTs you will be granted immediate access to the alpha version of SpaceRiders again, until the renewed or lifetime expiration date.

For subsequent generations the fusions will have the following requirements:

Reset expiration date: merge 2 Extensible Access NFTs of the same generation, same as Gen 1.
Obtain LIFETIME access: merge +1 Extensible Access NFT than in the previous generation.

Let’s see this exemplified:

To obtain LIFETIME ACCESS in Gen 1 we need 5 Extensible Access Tickets.
To obtain LIFETIME ACCESS in Gen 2 we need 6 Extensible Access Tickets.
To obtain LIFETIME ACCESS in Gen 3 we need 7 Extensible Access Tickets.

And so on. For this reason, the Total Supply of each generation may be increased.
