High APR liquidity pools with Private Pools Network

After processing our first round of feedback from our first wave of our private beta testers, we have made a wide range of bug fixes & feature upgrades thanks to the valued feedback from our community. Today we’re excited to share the latest updates from the Private Pools Network with the release of version 1.0.1. Lets unpack these below.

New Features

Card View Implementation

We’ve introduced a brand new card view feature that provides an intuitive and visual representation of data. This update includes both front and back sides of the cards, with ongoing animation enhancements to make user interactions more engaging. Beta users were asked to give us feedback of two versions of the pool display within our UI, and the card feature was a clear winner. We value offering intuitive, interactive and engaging UI so were incredibly appreciative of the feedback we received regarding this simple but important feature.

Data Connectivity

The initial connection of the card view to our data sources has been established, with more comprehensive integration in progress. This connectivity will allow for more seamless and accurate data presentation as we continue to develop. This feature update gives prospective pool users more granular insight into the performance of a pool & its trading metrics, offering a more data driven approach when our users are assessing their liquidity management strategies with our network.

Pair/Index Conditional Logic

To streamline user interactions, we’ve implemented conditional logic for pairing and indexing within the card view. This ensures a smoother, more intuitive experience for our users.

Action Buttons and Card Filters

Dedicated buttons for liquidity actions have been added directly within the card view, improving accessibility. Additionally, integrated filter conditions within the card view allow users to quickly sort and find relevant index pools based on specific criteria, pre determined by the user, creating a more customised decision making process..

Enhanced Navigation and New Data Points

Users can now click on a pair or index within the card view to be redirected to the specific pool page, enhancing navigation. We’ve also added new data points for 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day metrics across all cards, providing deeper insights into the pools yield bearing performance.

Social Media Integration and SVG Icon Component

Social media links have been added to the footer with updated URLs, and a new SVG Icon component has been developed to streamline visual asset management across the platform. As the current version of our network is a working beta, we hadn’t prioritised minor nuances such as socials in footers, however while processing this first round of feedback we wanted to take the time to update smaller intricacies such as these.

Pool Name Management

We’ve introduced a pool name input feature with a 16-character limit, complete with tooltips and notification logic for better user guidance. This enables pool creators to get creative with the pools they compose, creating more marketability around custom indexes created by our users.

Enhancements

Improved Animations and Optimized Pagination

We’ve enhanced the animation logic for pool cards, ensuring smoother transitions. Pagination options have also been updated, allowing users to view 6, 12, or 24 cards per page for better navigation.

User Experience and Responsive Design

Default view settings have been adjusted for optimal user experience, with the card view now set as the default mode. We’ve also improved the responsiveness of cards for both desktop and larger screens, ensuring a consistent experience across all devices.

Sidebar Adjustments and Detailed Pool Information

Sidebar elements have been adjusted to better accommodate pools with longer names, enhancing readability. We’ve fine-tuned the display of large numerical values on pool cards and added hover effects for better interaction with token details.

Analytics Overhaul and Advanced Filtering

The Analytics Ecosystem overview has been enhanced with improved currency change options and dynamic counter animations. Sophisticated filtering logic has been implemented across pools, portfolio investments, and analytics views for more precise data sorting.

Visual Asset Refactoring

We’ve updated and optimized SVG images across the platform, reducing system load and improving visual consistency.

Bug Fixes

Browser Compatibility and Animation Corrections

We’ve resolved transparency issues with pool cards on Mozilla and Safari browsers, ensuring a seamless experience across all platforms. Additionally, issues with pool card animations have been fixed to prevent any glitches.

Logic and Currency Display Fixes

Tooltips and notifications related to pool names have been corrected to ensure users receive accurate information. Unnecessary decimals in USD currency displays have been removed, with a “$” symbol added for clarity.

Portfolio and Pool Stats Refinements

Issues with the “Add Liquidity” button in My Portfolio have been addressed, and we’ve fine-tuned the display of large numerical values on pool cards.

Profit distribution Contract Calculations
There was a small bug in our profit distribution calculation logic where after some trades the setMerkleRoot function was ceasing to function meaning users were shown incorrect information in relation to yield claim entitlements. This means that after a user claimed their rewards, the ammount claimed wasnt wiped from a users dashboard. This would sum the previous balance with the balance of any new entitled claims meaning users were displayed a sum of both the previous claim balance, with that of any new rewards since the previous claim. This lead users to believe that the ammount they were owed was wiped from the UI, causing some confusion. This issue has now been fixed via code optemization meaning users now have more transparency and clarity over the yield they are entitled to claim. Note this was only a calculation display issue, actual entitlement to pending yield claims was not impacted.

Conclusion

The v1.0.1 release marks a significant milestone in our journey to enhance the functionality, performance, and user experience of Private Pools Network. With the introduction of the new card view, improved data connectivity, and advanced filtering options, we are confident that these updates will offer users greater flexibility and a more streamlined workflow. The enhancements and bug fixes not only address existing issues but also lay the groundwork for future innovations.
