Python tutorial on how to find crypto exchanges arbitrage using the CCXT API
What is arbitrage?
Arbitrage is the simultaneous buying and selling of an asset in order to profit from a price difference between two or more markets. For example, if you were to buy a cryptocurrency on one exchange for $100 and then sell it immediately on another exchange for $105, you would have made a profit of $5.
In the world of cryptocurrency, arbitrage opportunities can arise due to a number of factors, including differences in prices between exchanges, differences in trading volumes, and differences in the amount of liquidity available on each exchange. Finding arbitrage opportunities can be a time-consuming and manual process, but there are a number of tools and services that can help.
One such tool is the CCXT library, which provides access to a number of different cryptocurrency exchanges through a single API. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use the CCXT library to find arbitrage opportunities between different cryptocurrency exchanges.
Before we get started, there are a few things you’ll need: A list of exchanges that you want to check for arbitrage opportunities. You can find a list of exchanges supported by CCXT here.
