Snowflake is proud to announce the availability of our latest multi-signature product on Solana, Snowflake Safe. Snowflake Safe is the Gnosis Safe of Solana.
We have worked incredibly hard the past few months building on-chain automation, and we’re leveraging our prior experience to bring the most feature rich, secure and reliable multi-signature product to Solana.

What is a multi-signature wallet ?
A multi-signature wallet allows a group of users to approve a transaction before it can be executed. Many individuals and teams desire to have multiple parties sign off on a transaction, such as payments or withdrawals before it can be executed. This allows for more robust security, as it spreads the responsibility of your digital assets to multiple parties, and avoids a single point of failure in the case of a compromised individual or wallet.
Market landscape for for multi-signature products
The most well-known multisig product today is Gnosis-Safe which is only available for Ethereum and EVM chains.
For Solana ecosystem, multi-signature products are still in their early stage and many teams have opted to build their own tooling leveraging Serum Multisig. Whistle being a very reliable open source product, Serum multisig primarily focuses on highly technical use cases targeting developer workflows.
With the launch of Snowflake Safe, we aim to create a far richer, highly secure and delightful product experience that every web3 user would love to use, regardless of their technical experience.
We don’t intend to just create a clone of Gnosis-Safe. Solana deserves the best tooling in the space and Snowflake intends to lead the way when it comes to delivering a first-class multisig platform for our users.
Why did Snowflake create a multisig product?
We originally built Snowflake because we wanted to help protocols integrate automation on-chain. There was a strong need in the market to be able to automate or schedule jobs at an incredibly high success rate, without having the need to manage the underlying infrastructure. We built this because we wanted to help the ecosystem and projects build amazing products on top of the fastest blockchain in the world.
After speaking with many teams, we realised there was also a strong need for multi-signature product. A secure, open and extensible multisig product with automation that integrates with multiple third parties was not yet available on Solana, and leveraging Snowflake’s deep technical expertise and infrastructure, we realised we had the tools to build this. Our ultimate goal is to grow and improve the ecosystem, and Snowflake Safe was an opportunity to add a secure and feature-rich multisig for an already vibrant and growing community.
Security
Snowflake team has been building multi products since the early days of Solana. Our products and SDK have been used by a number of recognisable teams in the ecosystem. Snowflake was also audited by leading security firms including Certik and OtterSec

- Token Vesting — undertake token vesting directly from the safe
- Token Swap — swap tokens directly using Orca, trigger automations using Pyth’s price oracle
- Custom Action — execute developer custom instructions directly from the safe

What does the future look like for Snowflake Safe?
We want Snowflake Safe to be the most trusted, secure and feature-rich multisig product in the market. Snowflake Safe offers users and teams an unprecedented number of protocols integrations. From today you can use Snowflake Safe to undertake Token Vesting, recurring payments, scheduled transactions and token swaps directly with Orca.
But we’re not stopping there. We want to be able to integrate with as many third party protocols as possible. We want to give users the most secure and most feature rich experience when using their Solana wallet.
