Crypto Stamps — Collecting in new dimensions. A few years ago, the Austrian Post invented crypto stamps. Many countries follow, and Stampsdaq offers its marketplace for crypto stamps from different countries.
In my opinion, we will see a fabulous increase in the value of blockchain stamps!
Since 2019, the Austrian Post has issued stamps that bear little resemblance to a postage stamp and are rarely used for franking: The “Crypto stamps.”
With the invention of this “crypto stamp”, the Austrian Post set a trend that has already been copied in other countries. It created a stamp that also has a digital image in the blockchain and to which a unique token is assigned there.
The stamps, which are suitable for postage (the respective nominal value printed on them is valid as long as the stamp is not postmarked — regardless of whether digital ownership has been transferred or not), immediately triggered a run on the first edition (and sometimes also on subsequent editions), because whether the digital design, the crypto stamp attracts stamp collectors, cryptocurrency fans as well as lucky knights — yesterday I wanted to buy the golden whale ( more in the end of the article) during boarding — Do you think I was able to buy it?
