The evolution of a photo-theme

Back when I first published prints of my portraits of manhole covers and other utility disk in the pavement their name was suggested as “Street Coins” by the curator of the Public Works Museum in Baltimore. We were preparing a show of 21 Baltimore themed portraits. No one had heard of cryptocurrency or digital coins as a means of exchange and certainly not as an investment.
