Strike Partners With Shopify, Blackhawk, and NCR to Bring Bitcoin Lightning Payments to Merchants

Strike has officially partnered with Shopify, the Blackhawk payment company, and NCR to provide payments based on the Bitcoin Lightning network to online and in-store merchants around the world. Its integration with Shopify offers an alternative to traditional card networks by leveraging the technology behind the Bitcoins Lightning network to enable instant global final cash payments, while also eliminating legacy processing fees such as exchanges.

Integrate intends to diversify the payment method for US Shopify users. Integration with e-commerce giant Shopify will allow Shopify merchants to diversify existing payment methods and tap into untapped global markets and purchasing power. The launch of the Shopify integration is part of Strike’s plans to broaden the acceptance of bitcoin for both online and in-store trading.
