Upcoming IDO’s with Huge Potential
Some upcoming IDO’s to keep an eye on 👀
One of the central pillars of my Altcoin strategy for this bull run is investing in private sales. From early stage seed and strategic allocations, to pre-launch private and IDO allocations, the alpha offered by investing in these projects before they are available to the public is one of the biggest advantages available in the crypto markets today.
Access to these deals typically requires launchpad memberships (tokens or NFT’s), and some reasonable knowledge of how crypto and the crypto VC landscape works. That said, access to these deals is within reach of anyone reading this article, and can be achieved even for newcomers with a moderate investment and some due diligence.

Upcoming Initial Dex Offerings (IDO’s) to keep an eye on:
As the initial stages of the bull run take hold and crypto prices begin to warm up, the activity under the hood in Venture Capital fund raises and upcoming projects is reaching a more frenzied level.
Valuations are increasing, number of raises are surging, vesting is lengthening, and projects are getting to the stage where they dictate terms (and even modify them retroactively). In other words, if projects are the sellers (of their tokens), it is quickly becoming a seller’s market.
It is very much beginning to resemble the beach ball under water syndrome, where the beach ball (crypto) has been held under the water for quite some time and is now ready to rocket out at full speed.
I have invested in over 50 private sales since early 2023 alone, and am continuing to add to those investments. The following is a highlight of some of the more interesting projects and protocols that are launching in the near future.
IDO’s On the Horizon:
- XBorg: ($XBG) This is a GameFI project with some huge esports partnerships in the works, and a gaming launchpad as well. You can access this sale in a variety of ways, pre-registration is open and the referral link above gets you a 5% discount. The article here explains the sale in more detail. This is my top GameFi altcoin for this cycle, and I am heavily invested (so take my opinion with a grain of salt). TGE in late Q1 2024.
- Supra Oracles: This is a well funded Oracle project with huge backers. They raised funds at the tail end of the bear market, and should be launching their token in Q1 or Q2. Comparables like PYTH network had very successful launches in recent months, and this could be a big one as well.
- Midnight Society: This is a game studio lead by well known gamer and streamer Dr. Disrespect. Their first featured game is Deadrop, a FPS which has some pretty big hype in the Web3 world. TGE TBD.
- Phaver: A socialFi protocol that operates on top of the Lens infrastructure built on Polygon. The user interface and experience is excellent, and offers a twitter-like experience with monetization and gamification elements. You can also farm the airdrop on this one by using the protocol.
- Gunzilla Games: This is another gaming studio with a AAA FPS game called Off The Grid being launched this year. Along with Deadrop, this is one of the most hyped games in crypto, and has been highlighted by big names like Alex Becker and 0xHustlepedia.
- SPAACE: A gamefied version of OpenSea that takes all the best elements of Blur, Looksrare and Opensea and combines them in a slick UI. This is one of my bigger seed raise investments with huge potential.
- DYOR Exchange: This is a new iteration of socialFi copy trading with a slew of new features. It is a decentralized version of a socialFi platform with a slick UI and mobile app. It also has big backers and promoters including Ivan On Tech.
- Chirp DeWi: Chirp is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePin) based on the SUI blockchain. It is a telecommunications project that aims to decentralized 5G networks. This one hits multiple narratives (DePin & SUI) and is launching in Q3 2024.
- LiveArt: This is a phenomenal concept modelled after Masterworks.io. Essentially, it will act as a launchpad and investment platform for physical and digital art, and offer fractionalized ownership of high profile artwork. Big backers and team members on this project.
Conclusion:
Private and IDO sales offer excellent risk/reward opportunities, but are not for the faint of heart. The higher risk early stage of these projects is far outweighed by the huge discounts to market and potential for unicorn homeruns. In the previous cycle, there were a multitude of 40–50X investments, and a slew regular 10X returns.
The highlight reel of projects listed above should be taken as a guideline of types of investments you can expect to get access to in the myriad of launchpads available. The cherry on top is that the launchpad tokens themselves often explode in price when a successful launch is funneled through their platforms, as retail scramble to get access to the next big home run.
Keep in mind that you should almost never buy these tokens in the first week or so of their launch, as the price typically shoots up and then cools off. Once those projects find a new price plateau, you can often get great deals on the backs of the pre-sale investors profit taking, with no lock ups.
Many of the projects that have been raising funds over the last 6–12 months are launching their tokens in Feb and Mar. Inevitably, when one of them becomes an overwhelming success and throws off a 100X + return, the retail masses will swarm to launchpad tokens in an IDO gold rush, and the prices of these memberships will start to become unaffordable.
