Startverse: The first Metaverse Game for Startups!
Startverse is a virtual reality world that allows users to connect with millions of other players around the world which will help us build a common community for future startups. In this three-dimensional space, you will earn income by working and completing assigned tasks every day.
A special feature of the game is the living environment around the characters. If you’re living in New York and it’s -10 degrees with white snow on the road. Startverse will create a parallel world to bring you the most vivid experiences.
The story behind Startverse
Startverse was founded in 2020, with the vision to bring players “one-of-a-kind” experiences with today’s most advanced technology. Currently, Startverse has been released on Android, iOS, WebGL and PC platforms.
We believe that this simulation role-playing game combining AR/VR and
non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will become the pioneer of Metaverse technology all over the world.
Marketplace
Startverse’s NFT e-commerce model allows users to earn in-game currency and convert it to real money. First, when logging into this world, players will be assigned a number of tasks which have to be done on that day. After completing these tasks, you will receive coins/tokens from the game system which can be exchanged for money or used to develop the company. To expand the entrepreneur, users need to recruit more human resources by inviting friends or other players to work for them.
Startverse uses two main currencies for transactions:
- Coins (SVC): Will be used for the purpose of upgrading houses, land, companies, etc., while tokens will be used to buy or rent a marketplace. To upgrade the company, players need to upgrade coins and then sell them at a marketplace to exchange for tokens.
- Token (SVE): Are also used as a means of allowing players to travel between cities. This is a rarer and more stable coin, players can only receive during special events. SVE will be used to buy/borrow from the marketplace.
Therefore, consider using SVC and SVE effectively!
Characters Features
Find a job
- If you join a game as a free player, you will need to apply to a company to get money. In case you cannot find any company to apply to, you can apply to a default company Unicorn Corp in the game.
- The players need to go to the office to receive tasks everyday, then work and earn promotions by fulfilling the required tasks. If the players miss work for a day, they will receive a warning from their boss, and if they continue to miss the next day, they will be fired automatically.
Working
- As an employee player, you need to go to the office everyday to receive tasks to do. Each task will request you to meet someone or go somewhere. The rewards of tasks will be paid for you and your company.
- As a boss player, you also need to go to the office everyday to receive tasks to do. Task for the boss player is to request the player go to meet some other virtual companies. To win more projects, players need to increase their charm and upgrade their companies/employees.
Basic needs
- When players do actions in a day, the characters’ health will be reduced to 0, they must make decisions about time spent on fulfilling the basic needs. These needs are filled by activities in daily life such as eating food, going to sleep.
- When the players go to sleep, they will sleep until the next day. After sleeping, the character’s health will be restored to maximum to continue to work. If the characters do not perform the proper amount of maintenance, they will suffer with some negative side effects that cannot be controlled: They are likely to be more nasty to other characters by slapping them, or even attacking them. These side effects will reduce charm points and if a police saw they attack other characters, they will be catched to jail.
Dating, Going to the bar, Playing Casino
- Like other daily needs, to increase the happiness of characters, players can go to the bar or play mini games. If you want to earn extra income, you can go to the Casino and win x5, x10 bonus bets.
- What’s interesting in this multiplayer mode is the dating function. The game allows you to get married, buy a house, and give presents to your lover.
