Web 3.0 Explained in 60 Seconds
The first generation of the internet was about connecting computers to one another, and the second generation was about connecting people to one another through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Web 3.0 is about connecting people directly without any intermediaries.
Web3 will utilize decentralized protocols such as blockchain, which are designed to be open-source, secure, and transparent.
In this new version of the internet, all data will be stored on a distributed ledger called the blockchain. This means that there is no central hub for all web traffic, which in turn means more privacy for internet users and less censorship from governments or corporations.
