Kujira network is the network that is designed to turn you from a crypto beginner to a crypto expert to a whale! Kujira has stolen the hearts of many degens (me included) so what is the Kujira network and what do they have to provide to the crypto market?

♦What is the Kujira Network?

It’s a layer 1 ecosystem built on cosmos, blockchain known for its interoperability.

“Kujira” means a whale in Japanese, for they aim to create a DeFi ecosystem friendly to crypto noobs to provide them the ability to become whales.

Kujira’s Homepage

♦How is Kujira aiming for success?

The Kujira network focuses on:

  • cost-effective solutions
  • friendly UI/UX
  • interoperability
  • allowing retail investors to have the same opportunities as the elite no matter the market condition

They have a range of revenue-generating products, which I’ll discuss more down below.

Source

All revenue across all protocols AND most profit shares go straight to $KUJI stakers!

They also got:

  • Less reliance on bots when creating a protocol due to having an on-chain scheduler. And all the fees saved go back to users.
  • Simpler way for developers to deal with smart contracts because of their native token generation feature
  • Semi-permission contracts. So for any smart contract to launch, it needs to be voted on via governance.

♦Services that Kujira Network provides:

  1. BLUE: the Kujira central hub
  2. SONAR: a multi-chain wallet (released soon)
  3. FIN: a decentralized excahnge (DEX)
  4. BOW: a liquidity engine
  5. GHOST: a money market for lending and borrowing
  6. ORCA: liquidation protocol
  7. POD: cross-chain staking protocol
  8. USK: a stablecoin
  9. FINDER: a blockchain explorer

Let’s dive deep!

BLUE

1. BLUE:

Blue is the Kujira dashboard where you can:

  • stake or swap $KUJI
  • view KUJI stats
  • mint $USK the stablecoin
  • vote on governance
  • bridge to Kujira network

2. SONAR

Sonar is a mobile and desktop wallet that gives access to all Kujira’s services. Having the Kujira ecosystem available on mobile definitely can increase demand. I personally can’t wait for it!

You can view an app walkthrough, here.

FIN

3. FIN

Fin is a decentralized order book exchange. It uses BOW (more below) as the market maker for liquidity. They claim no risk of impermanent loss with low gas fees and maker/taker fees.

You can find: $ETH $BNB $ATOM $DOT $KUJI and of course $UST

BOW

4. BOW

Bow is a protocol that uses a similar algorithm to classic automatic market makers (AMMs). It can provide deep and stable order books on FIN. Liquidity providers earn a yield and a portion of fees from trades.

GHOST

5. GHOST

Ghost, the money market where users can lend out to earn interest or borrow assets to use them as collateral. Degen friendly! Through governance, the community can add new assets too.

It uses ORCA as its liquidation engine. Your liquidated assets go there for up to 30% off to be auctioned off.

ORCA

6. ORCA

FYI: It was a liquidation engine for a DeFi protocol with $20 billion in TVL. Source.

ORCA was Kujira’s first product and first public marketplace for liquidated collateral. Users can get liquidated collateral for up to a 30% discount. Assets on markets are accessible across all Cosmos.

POD

7. POD

POD is a page/UI that helps token stakers quickly stake to any number of validators on any Cosmos chain. You can easily connect your wallet and rebalance your stake.

8. USK

$USK is a decentralized over-collatorized stablecoin soft-pegged to USD backed at a minimum of 166%. It was initially backed by $ATOM, $DOT, $wBNB, $wETH, $gPAXG, and $LUNA.

You can use it as collateral on GHOST.

Mint it on BLUE.

Finder

9. FINDER

Finder is blockchain explorer where you can:

  • search transactions
  • review your history
  • bookmark important wallets
  • confirm token IDs

There’s more to the ecosystem, which you can explore on their website, here.

♦$KUJI Token

The $KUJI token is used for:

  • Staking and earning rewards
  • Voting and governance
  • Network fees
  • Trading

There are currently 75 validators, which is not much, but they actively use the Nakamoto coefficient to measure decentralization. They also have a system on POD that helps distribute the validation power. More about that here.

♦Tokenomics & Allocation:

  • Max supply: 122.4 million.
  • Circulating: 114 million.

It’s a good sign that almost all tokens are in the market.

Allocation & Release Schedule
  • Public & Private sales: 40.1%
  • Liquidity: 4.9%
  • Advisors: 6%
  • Team: 22%
  • Operational: 9%
  • Marketing: 7%
  • Airdrops: 0.4%
  • Treasury: 6.5%
  • Rewards: 7%

Team and advisors having around 28% is concerning, but better than many other projects. However, since all tokens will be fully vested in 6 months, there might be some who can dump on the market after that period for fast cash.

The Kujira Network does provide many great products and has a great way of optimizing Cosmos blockchain, which makes it bullish in the long term.
