Since Bitcoin’s conception and creation in 2008, no one has been able to successfully identify the true creator of Bitcoin. The creator of bitcoin, only referred to as “Satoshi Nakamoto”, is thought to be a name for an illusive cover up for a group of individuals who actually invented the cryptocurrency.

throughout the years, people all around the world have tried to unravel the true identity of Satoshi, but were only met with failure. It seems as though finding the true origin of Satoshi is going to take the likes of Sherlock Holmes to solve the case.

Elon Musk, the CEO of TESLA and SpaceX, has once again sparked interest and revived the man hunt for the origin of Satoshi Nakamoto. Elon recently posted a tweet showing the following image:

The photo shows that Satoshi Nakamoto is an assembled group of letters from 4 tech. industries: Samsung, Toshiba, Nakamichi, and Motorola.

Could these four companies have been the inspiration behind the illusive Satoshi Nakamoto? or just a coincidence?

This photo has been circulating the internet for several years now and has once again been surfaced by the billionaire and has gained much attention. Although this photo is meant to shed light on who Satoshi Nakamoto is, we are left with more questions than answers.

Who really is Satoshi?

Most likely the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is an individual known as Hal Finney, the creator of the proof-of-work system which he developed long before the creation of bitcoin in the year 2004. Finny also received the very first bitcoin transaction from Satoshi Nakamoto, perhaps testing the mechanism of sending bitcoin to a wallet. Unfortunately with Hal Finney’s passing away in 2014, we were left with many questions never to be solved.

Some evidence shows that perhaps Hal Finney was not alone in the creation of Bitcoin. Other individuals who may also have been involved on the Bitcoin project were: Craig Write, Wiki leaks’ Julian Asssage, and Cypherpunks’ Adam Back. All these individuals can be tied back to Hal Finney and aiding his project.

Satoshi Nakamotos wallet currently contains 1.1 million bitcoin and has not been touched since May 17th, 2010. Until Satoshi’s wallet one day sees activity again, we may never know who the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is.
