Women aren’t supposed to play basketball.
That’s what the entire world thinks.
“Women’s basketball is the team sport of basketball played by women. It was first played in 1892, one year after men’s basketball, at Smith College in Massachusetts.”
But as far as basketball goes, nobody bothered watching women play till recently.
Everyone preferred watching the men play because there were highlight dunks, crazy antics, faster paced, more excitement and the level of athleticism is superb.
People loved watching other people do outlandish, extra ordinary, unbelievable feats.
But as the rules slowly changed and the game evolved, women basketball is heating up too.
Caitlin Clark, a 22 year old in college basketball, is eclipsing expectations and records with an ease that leaves fans spellbound.
In a buzzing arena in Iowa City, Clark shattered the NCAA women’s all-time scoring record.
