We are excited to release this version of DropBit, which can be installed here: In this version, we launched the following:
Push Notifications for Incoming Transactions
Push notifications will alert users when they are sent a transaction. These notifications can be managed in the settings on your iOS or Android device. We decided to show the USD value of the transaction vs. the Bitcoin value to stay true to our mission to tailor this experience to new to Bitcoin users who will better conceptualize USD amounts in a notification.
Background Syncing
Background syncing has been added to this version of the app to enhance the experience and allow for a more streamlined DropBit experience that does not require constant checking in with the app.
Bug Fixes and UI Enhancements
This build contains several bug fixes and UI enhancements to streamline the experience and simplify language within the app.
