Coinplug and CUBOX will develop the future of DID+Biometrics services

We are happy to announce our new partnership with CUBOX for joint planning and development of business models based on Decentralized Identity (DID) and biometric authentication technologies.
The two technologies at the center of this partnership have been getting more attention as ways of self verification method after the passage of the Abolition of Public Certificates (Amendments to the Electronic Signature Act) and in the light of COVID-19 which has pushed for non-face-to-face digital services.
Coinplug’s CEO JoonSun Uhr said “Blockchain technology and DID will play an important role in moving beyond COVID-19 to a non-face-to-face society,” adding, “Through this cooperation, we’ll contribute to lay the foundation for further expansion of the usability of non face-to-face services by combining DID and biometric authentication technologies.”
CUBOX
CUBOX is developing and supplying AI face recognition based on their One-ID solution. Their portfolio includes multiple services and access control equipment which have been supplied to verification controls across multiple domestic airports and at immigration checkpoints in international airports including the Incheon International Airport (since 2013) and the Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Mongolia.
