Coinplug is bringing one more company to our list of partners. We would like to welcome Belivvr and reinforce our commitment to cooperate and grow the NFT space.
The first activity of this collaboration will be the unveiling of the WebXR exhibition hall ‘V.SPACE’, linked to METAPiE. V.SPACE is an NFT VR gallery service that utilizes a network of webtoon artworks owned by Belivvr to provide a VR experience on the users’ computer or mobile device.
“The NFT art market will be a new alternative for artists in the story-oriented webtoon industry” said Belivvr CEO, Yang Byung-seok. “I hope it will be another way to enjoy VR webtoons in a 360 degree illustration format.”
People visiting the V.SPACE gallery will be able to check and participate in auctions for the artworks through METAPiE. The first pieces to be added to the exhibition are NFTs of illustrations of writers Baek Young-wook and Hotduk,
Coinplug’s NFT marketplace, METAPiE, was successfully launched in its beta version on the 20th. It provides NFTs in various areas like arts and sports, and will include more auctions every Tuesday.
“We are planning to diversify our NFT business model through collaboration with various innovative technology companies” said Ryan Uhr, Coinplug’s CEO.
