Introducing CoinRecycler

I’m excited to introduce you to CoinRecyler, the world’s first non-custodial crypto to lightning network engine. Begin #StackingSats by using any cryptocurrency to make lightning enabled payments.

CoinRecycler does not require any account creation on its platform or exchange accounts to be created. We have partnered with major exchanges and you get to choose the exchange on which to transact on. CoinRecycler also provides the fastest transaction times compared to any non-custodial crypto asset exchange.

Plans to support the largest database of crypto-currencies

We are currently starting off with 40+ cryptocurrencies that can be instantly traded for bitcoin and lightning network satoshis. There are around 8000 cryptocurrencies right now according to Coinmarketcap and we plan to support a way to make all of them be traded for bitcoin and the Lightning Network instantly.

Bitcoin has been the highest performing asset in the history of mankind and this will only continue to increase. We are on a mission to help people across the world accumulate as much bitcoin as possible aka “Stacking Sats”.

Many across the globe have bought into underperforming ICOs, tokens, etc. and are hoping that these tokens go up someday. Some of such tokens are not listed on any exchanges. How can users make use of these tokens?

Hence, the term “CoinRecycler” to recycle all these other “coins” to the purest, oldest and most reliable cryptocurrency.

Okay now this GIF could be a little misleading 🤓. We consider Shitcoins to be those that haven’t really accomplished anything in the space in spite of raising millions and millions of dollars 🙄.

Jokes apart, we are enabling an ecosystem where users can make payments using any of the 8000 cryptocurrencies available at any retail outlet/online merchant that accepts bitcoin or the Lightning Network.

How does this work?

1. Select crypto to recycle and exchange of choice.

2. Enter your bitcoin address/lightning invoice.

3. Send crypto to the address we generated, the trade automatically gets executed and the resultant bitcoin/lightning gets transferred to your wallet address you mentioned in Step 2.

Why choose us?

As creators of the Saffroncoin project in 2014, we were building the first blockchain interoperability network called Project Orion. We faced hurdles and had to shelve the project 😔. There weren’t any Turing complete blockchains at the time and smart contracts were relatively a new terminology.

We had created the first version of CoinRecycler in 2014 which was the first non-custodial crypto exchange as a feature for the Saffroncoin wallet. The response was overwhelming being the first of its kind.

CoinRecycler now is the world’s first non-custodial crypto to lightning exchange.

We plan to support the conversion of over 8000 cryptocurrencies today to bitcoin and the Lightning Network.

Our vision is to evolve CoinRecycler to enable decentralised non-custodial exchanges of cryptocurrencies to bitcoin using our blockchain interoperability network, Orion.

We are also working with merchants for payments! We are enabling an ecosystem where users can make payments using any of the 8000 cryptocurrencies available at any retail outlet/online merchant that accepts only bitcoin or the Lightning Network. Isn’t that cool? Doesn’t matter if the merchant doesn’t accept the crypto that you have. Using CoinRecycler, you can pay with any crypto.

Future Plans

We are a super ambitious bunch. This is what our pipeline looks like.

1. Buy bitcoin and lightning network satoshis directly using Fiat.
2. How cool would it be if you earn bitcoin on paying your credit card bills? Woohoo! Yes, yes we are working on that! All about Stacking Sats!
3. How about paying your credit card bills using any crypto through the CoinRecycler engine? Yes, that’s coming to you!
4. DeFi on bitcoin? Sshhh… wouldn’t disclose too much on it but it’s exciting what we are BUIDLing!
