Interview With Coinstore’s Co-founder On HackerNoon
Hey Coin Collectors,
Recently, Coinstore’s co-founder, Jennifer, had an interview conducted with HackerNoon, on how she started Coinstore, her experience with Coinstore, and what were her important achievements at Coinstore. Let’s delve into a little sneak peek at what she mentioned during her interview with HackerNoon.
To start the interview, Jennifer shared with HackerNoon, her background in cryptocurrency and how she had the chance to start Coinstore.
Jennifer shared that she had been in the blockchain industry for around 4 years now, where she started off by working in a blockchain events company and assisted the company in pivoting to a cryptocurrency exchange. Having experience in operations, marketing, human resource (HR), and finance, her ex-boss saw her potential and co-founded Coinstore with her.
Despite, having an interest in cryptocurrency when Bitcoin peaked in 2014, her passion only started when she started working in her first blockchain company. As a late joiner without prior interest and passion in this industry, she was glad she embarked on this journey to start Coinstore!
Subsequently, Jennifer elaborated more on how Coinstore was conceptualized and its background story.
The idea to create Coinstore, stemmed from Jennifer’s personal experience with cryptocurrency trading. In the early days, whenever someone would like to buy different tokens or coins, they would have to download and complete the registrations for 6 different apps/platforms before they could find or buy the token, something that Jennifer personally experienced. The lack of applications and fiat-to-crypto options spurred Jennifer to create a new product that can fill this market gap as these problems are still more common than we think.
As such, the concept behind Coinstore was borne, making it one of the first few exchanges that carry a wide range of popular and interesting coins that the public is interested in. Additionally, to create and retain a fun and easy experience for new or seasoned users, Coinstore’s UI is made to be clean and simple, as we want to be known for: Practicality, Simplicity, and Variety.
Jennifer also shared how Coinstore measures its success, and what are our core metrics.
The core metrics we use to measure Coinstore’s success are satisfied users and growth, and currently, we have 200,000+ users amassed from 175 countries in the world. Coinstore also focuses on building a better product for its users, to ensure our users are satisfied with our current products — Spot and Futures Trading — before we launch more products on our platform.
Another focus we have is acquiring happy and satisfied users, where we currently place heavy emphasis on our user acquisition through our referral programs and community building. This has been Coinstore’s focus since our launch, where we focused a lot on community activities and rewards. Given our efforts, we are currently building up communities in many different countries and markets, and we hope to scale up very soon!
